I must be brave. Or crazy. Either way, I'm going to make a difference.

Launching a business at the perfectly imperfect time: announcing AdVox Marketing

In early February, after literally years of contemplation, I decided the timing was finally just right to leave my corporate job and take the skills I’ve been building my entire career to serve clients in a more innovative and impactful way.

What I thought was a well-calculated and inspired leap, suddenly felt like a dive into a sea of uncertainty. As with every other aspect of life, the advertising world has been turned upside down, and each passing day brings more change. There has been a collective revelation that we are going to be stuck in this moment for a while, and we are all in this together. Along with all of you, I’ve been adjusting to a new normal and thinking about how the world will look after this moment passes. Although much is uncertain, this is the perfect time to help advertisers find a more meaningful voice in their communications.

For those of you who know me well, you know my passion lies in leveraging the storytelling power of media to instigate change and make the world a better place. This is why I started AdVox Marketing, to make good happen by creating new behaviors in consumers and companies, and to help my clients find deeper purpose and more resonant ways to connect with their audiences.

At this moment in history, any advertiser, whether or not they have a product to sell right now, must quickly learn to speak in new ways: to mitigate risk, to position for success in an emerging future, and to build community and raise awareness of how all of us are interconnected.

Now is the time to use our imaginations to contribute to the advertising world in a whole new way. Some organizations are rising to the occasion. Others are paralyzed. Some are straight up tone deaf. But it’s clear that you can’t afford to do nothing, or worse, to misstep.

I recognize that many companies and teams are not set up to meet these new challenges internally. This is exactly why I started AdVox.

I am here to help you:

  • Shift media strategy to reflect changes in media consumption

  • Adjust brand strategy to communicate effectively now and set up for the future

  • Create a cause marketing campaign to help your brand stay top of mind while making a difference in a community that needs you now more than ever

  • Forge partnerships between companies, organizations and the media to accomplish a common goal

You are probably contemplating what’s next right at this moment. What plans need to be scrapped, what pivots to make. It’s time to sink or swim; how you communicate with your audience now will affect your future business.

I would be honored to help you navigate these uncharted waters.

Please reach out and we can talk about how AdVox can breathe new life and purpose into what you're doing.

Stay safe and keep connected,

Alyson
